The Grow Digital Grant gives Irish SMEs up to €5,000 towards digital and automation projects. We're an approved provider — and we'll handle the whole process with you.
Automating your business processes is one of the smartest investments you can make — and the Irish Government agrees. The Grow Digital Grant, administered through your Local Enterprise Office, was designed to help small Irish businesses like yours embrace digital tools and automation, and take on the cost of doing it.
We have helped a significant number of our clients access this grant to fund their first automation project with us. In most cases, the time savings from the automation alone — hours recovered every week from work your team no longer has to do manually — means clients see the full value of their investment returned within one to two months of going live. The grant accelerates that return even further.
If you meet the criteria below, there is a strong chance you can use this funding to get your first automation built and running — with a substantial portion of the cost covered before you see a single result.
The grant covers up to 50% of eligible project costs, with a minimum grant of €500 and a maximum of €5,000 per application. Eligible businesses can apply for up to two grants, up to a combined maximum of €5,000.
In the context of our automation services, the grant can be applied towards:
Software subscription fees for automation and workflow tools new to your business
Field service management and job tracking software
Workflow management and process automation software
Electronic invoicing and electronic signature software
Customer relationship management (CRM) software
Online booking, payments and appointment systems
Order management and stock control software
Cloud-based accounting software (if moving to cloud for the first time)
Analytics and AI systems
Training and configuration support for new systems (up to 50% of overall project cost)
In plain terms — the tools we use to build your automation, and the time we spend configuring and training your team to use them, can be funded under this grant.
Before the grant, a typical automation project with us starts from €2,500. After a Grow Digital grant of up to €5,000, your net cost can be reduced significantly — or in some cases covered entirely for a Starter project.
Factor in the hours your team stops spending on manual admin from week one — most clients save between 6 and 10 hours per week — and the return on your total investment typically arrives within four to eight weeks of going live. The grant simply makes that calculation even easier to say yes to.
If you meet these requirements, you are likely eligible to apply. We’ll help you confirm and navigate the process.
The most common barrier we see is businesses who haven’t yet completed a Digital for Business support project through their Local Enterprise Office — this is a prerequisite for the Grow Digital grant. If that’s you, don’t let it put you off. The Digital for Business support is straightforward, free, and we can point you in the right direction to complete it quickly. Many of our clients go through this step and are back talking to us about their automation project within a few weeks.
We’ll be honest with you from the start. If we think you qualify, we’ll tell you. If there’s a step you need to take first, we’ll walk you through it.
